Wow! This one was one for the books! This whole day was so special and beautiful, and you could tell that Gerwin and Anneliese had spent a lot of time trying to make it meaningful to their friends and family, and also for themselves.

We started out the day with some getting ready shots, followed by their first look. This was an especially interesting part because in the Dutch tradition, the groom comes to pick up the bride to take her to the church. We met at the lovely Lake Lisgar in Tillsonburg, and Gerwin gave Anneliese her bridal bouquet, which he had picked out himself.

Getting to take pictures with the vintage Chevrolet was a highlight for me, as I’m a little bit of a antique car lover. After the ceremony, family pictures, and reception, we finished up the day heading back to Lake Lisgar for some nighttime shots!
