Another year-end recap in the books! 2025 was a slower season for me with photography, but I’m thankful for the balance it gave. I was able to lead my church’s summer kids program and travel a whole bunch! There were so many magical moments… such as photographing on a sailboat at sunset, to frolicking through Downtown Toronto capturing your best friend’s pregnancy announcement photos. I’m so thankful for the many opportunities to serve my clients and their families, and I cannot WAIT to do more of that in 2026. Another highlight was taking a week in September and going to Alberta to hike and explore. Such a unique and rewarding experience pushing our bodies to the absolute limit. I’m hoping to do more of that next year as well, so if you want a mountain-top session with some hiking involved, let me know! 😉
Cheers to 2025, and I’m excited for whatever God has in store for 2026! I think it’s gonna be a wild year!

I technically wasn’t the photographer for Adam and Rebeca’s day at Hespeler Baptist Church in January, but since I photographed their surprise proposal it deserved a spot in the recap. Their day was sweet, simple, and deeply meaningful. I love weddings that point people to Christ.Â

I started off the season with Gabby and Ryan’s beautiful, but FREEZING, wedding day! Sophie came along with me and was such a huge help! These two have such a lovely story of God’s goodness, and it was a joy to celebrate them!
Gabby was such a stunning bride, and I’m so excited for her as she welcomes her sweet little baby so soon!
Sophie always helping fluff the dress or test the lighting for receptions!Â

Then it was Cam and Jaclyn’s beautiful Dundas wedding! This day was magical and these two were such a joy to serve. 🙂

Such a happy day! Love you Jaclyn and Cam!Â

Corina and Jose’ engagement session ended with a surprise sunset boat tour of Lake Ontario. What a special night. I LOVED capturing this session for them!Â

Then it was time to head to Alberta for a week of hiking in the mountains. It was exhausting but taking some time during busy season to explore and be outside was life giving…. Definitely want to do it again!Â

Right after coming back was being the day of coordinator for Meagan and Chris’ special day. It was so fun to serve at a wedding but in a totally different capacity than being a photographer. Their day was lovely….I’m just sad I didn’t get a photo with Meagan and Chris…but I did get to sit with some special friends!Â

I have captured two newborn sessions, multiple family sessions, and even a few extended family sessions for the Varugheses, and each time it is such a joy to be invited back into their lives. Capturing this Oakville session was so special! Thank you Varugheses for trusting me time and time again!Â

When Janelle and Marcelo from Soza Creative asked if I could associate photograph one of their weddings, I was excited but nervous! These two are SO talented at what they do. We were blessed with a perfectly beautiful day, and I am super thankful for their trust in me.Â

Then it was Dakota and Quinten’s Wedding Day! I captured Dakota’s brother Jake’s wedding to Lexi a few years ago, so it was extra special to see them now with two kids. Time is wild. 😉Â

Lots of work from coffee shop days! Fall minis were a blast and it is so special to see returning clients support me and my work. Thankful for each and every one of you!

Then my little sister (and roommate!) got ENGAGED! It is such a surreal moment capturing the day her life changed forever, and I’m so excited to stand next to her in less than two months when they say “I do.”

A quick little Muskoka trip and a special session with Jaclyn and Cam! While they had wanted to originally do their wedding at their family cottage, the space wasn’t ideal for a big wedding..so they asked me to come up and capture a few photos of just them in some of their most special places. Such a sweet idea, and I LOVE any time I get to hang out with these two!Â

And finishing out the year with Corina and Jose’ stunning wedding at the Fort Garry in Winnipeg. It was such a perfect day, with a ceremony that spoke of the Biblical picture of marriage and glorified the Lord. 🙂Â

And that is that. There are so many more sessions and events. So many joyful moments captured. There are days when I sit back and truly realize what a gift my job is. I am invited in to some of the most intimate moments of people’s lives, and I don’t take that for granted. My purpose and goal has always been to glorify the Lord in how I love and serve my clients and couples, and that will, Lord willing, continue into 2026! I’m so thankful for what He has done and excited to see what He will do next!Â
If you’ve made it to the end, thanks for reading, and stay tuned! 🙂
